This page covers the Gisel Silver classic bedroom, which combined an upholstered bed, a three-drawer chest, an armchair and a floor lamp, and three Francesco Pasi pieces for a silver-toned room today. It shows where silver leaf belongs and how to keep it consistent.
Which pieces made up Gisel Silver?
Gisel Silver paired an upholstered bed in natural wood and fabric with a three-drawer chest, an upholstered armchair and a floor lamp. Hand painting on the drawers and hand carving gave each piece its detail. On the bed, natural wood and fine fabric were chosen together for comfort and durability.
How do you carry silver leaf across the room?
Repeat silver leaf on two or three pieces and keep the rest plain. The Opera Bed 3066 by Francesco Pasi has a carved headboard with a central fretwork and offers silver leaf as an option.
The Opera Dressing Table Desk, Carved "B" Decoration, takes silver leaf too and measures H 78 x W 158 x D 68 cm. A pale base such as Luxury White or Cream lets the silver read clearly. See more high end bedroom furniture for the same scheme.
What does a hinged wardrobe need?
A hinged wardrobe needs clear floor in front so both doors open fully. The Gran Guardia Wardrobe 2067 by Francesco Pasi has two hinged doors in solid wood 34 mm thick, with carving made entirely by hand in solid cherry.
Allow roughly the width of one door in clear floor in front. For the rest of the home, browse our upscale furniture.
